Dublin Fancy Quilt Along: Week 4

Dublin Fancy Quilt Along: Week 4

Week 4 of our quilt along starts today! This puts us about half way through our quilt along. For this week, we’re going to make another 5 chain blocks, our last five chain blocks! Those nine patch blocks with pinwheels in the foreground are by far the most time consuming part of this quilt. So, after we finish them this week, the cube blocks go SEW MUCH QUICKER! If you haven’t got your pattern yet, you can order it here. You can view the quilt along schedule here. If you’re joining us late, you can still sign up as long as the quilt along is still going.

I don’t have anything new for you this week. Here are links to all the tips and tricks we’ve went over so far for the chain blocks:
Trimming half square triangles
Keeping your pinwheel points
Spinning your seams
Chain Piecing
