Strippy Spools Quilt Along

I’ll be joining a quilt along this summer! Since I stay so busy, it’s not that often that I get the chance to join a quilt along as a participant. BUT, I do get to take part in Fat Quarter Shop’s Strippy Spools Quitl along. I’m sew excited! (I definitely sang that while I typed =)

Quilt/Quilt Along Details

When: May 19, 2025 – July 7, 2025
Sizes: Lap and Twin – They are making the Lap size for the Quilt Along
Jelly Roll friendly! – There are also enough pieces left from the foreground to cheat a little bit and use the extra strips in a scrappy binding. I LOVE a good scrappy binding!
This would also make a GREAT scrap buster project

Fabric

Kimberly will be using the Summertime Collection by Camille Roskelley.
You can get the fabrics and the pattern HERE.

I’ll be using a Paradise Park by Pat Sloan for the Jelly Roll. I love how the colors in this one play together. You can get that same Jelly Roll I’m using HERE.

You can see all of my pieces ready to go in the picture above. BUT, I have a confession to make… I have already finished my quilt did some quilt runs with the little snugglebug. If follow me on Instagram, you’ve probabaly see a lot of these quilt runs. We really enjoy filming ourselves running around in the back yard with quilts =). Running around with quilts is one of the best stress busters I’ve found. But anyway, back on topic… I’ve always been a terrible quilt-alonger who gets carried away and finishes the quilt in the first week (or even the first day). So, since I’ve already made it, I know this one is a super fun quilt to make.
